Today, Clarins Group has an international network of 20 majority-controlled distribution subsidiaries (opened as soon as sales market volumes attain critical mass) supplemented by distribution agreements with more than 140 local agents.
The Group also holds significant stakes in certain agents (between 35% and 48%). These include agents that distribute the Clarins and Thierry Mugler brands in Belgium or all Group brands in Northern Ireland, the Irish Republic and Australia. On this basis, the Group’s distribution network includes close to 19,000 points of sale, with foreign markets accounting for more than 85% of total sales.
The brand is also promoted through 38 beauty institutes, 27 directly owned, offering a showcase for the brand’s expertise through highly qualified beauty therapists and beauty advisors. The new design concept was presented to the managers of different institutes throughout the world to be replicated in the months ahead. This includes use of wood and green colour tones to emphasize the connection between Clarins and nature, a treatment cabin as a symbol exemplifying the brand’s heart in the centre of the institute and a wall display showcasing Clarins innovations…
