The creation of
Angel in 1992 was the product of a common desire of the
multi-faceted artist Thierry Mugler and Clarins Group to jointly reinvent
Prestige Perfumery.
This first fragrance introduced an
entirely new olfactory range with its original notes. It rapidly became
one of the classic women's fragrances and at the same time established
a unique and authentic individual relationship with each of its loyal
customers.
Innocent, A*Men,
Mugler Cologne or Alien, launched in 2005 and
now the brand's second feminine pillar: the Thierry Mugler fragrances
that followed tell the stories of mythical and supernatural characters,
and have equally strong identities. 
Thierry Mugler "Circles" or customer panels create
opportunities for unique and spontaneous dialogue, while the redesigned
perfume fountains or "Sources" offering refills of the precious
bottle, reinforce a special bond between customers and the brand. Finally,
the brand has adopted a distribution strategy focused on the most exclusive
points of sale.
Thierry Mugler Parfums has also pioneered a
number of initiatives to share its knowledge of the craft of perfume
making and permit the public to discover its many facets.
The
Perfume Workshops organized for the general public since 2005
contribute to safeguarding the heritage of this olfactory art while
establishing the brand's position as an expert in the craft of
perfumery.
Thierry Mugler Parfums seeks to continue to astonish
by incarnating a world of dreams and the extraordinary. Since the first
quarter of 2008, a new range, Thierry Mugler Beauty, combining the make-up
line “The Art of Metamorphosis” with a collection of
five fragrances “Miroir, Miroir!”, proposes
beauty-artifices to sculpt and transform one's personality, thus
offering a new vision of Beauty by Thierry Mugler.
Thierry Mugler Mode et
Patrimoine
is a dedicated structure
devoted to:
● developing the Thierry Mugler brand through license agreements for men’s and women’s Ready-to-Wear apparel and accessories such as leather goods, jewellery, watches, glasses, etc.
● promoting the
heritage of the brand that includes archives illustrating 30 years of
exceptional creativity through communications initiatives destined to
optimize its international notoriety. In 2007, collaboration with the
Lafuma Group provided an opportunity for a synthesis between the Thierry
Mugler signature style and Lafuma's expertise. The result was a
combination of creative design with advanced technologies for the sports
and after ski segments. The launch of the highly futuristic line signed
Lafuma by Thierry Mugler was accompanied by a limited reedition of the
mythic “Esqui-maude” down jacket created by Thierry Mugler for
the 1986 Winter Collection and sold in a collector Mugler blue case with
vinyl handles.
A success that Thierry Mugler will pursue in
2008.
